So Long, New Zealand! Nǐ Hǎo, China!

We sadly had to say, “Cheerio!” to one of the most beautiful and magical places (with incredible people) on the planet, New Zealand. Today, we left Queenstown, South Island, and connected to Auckland, then Sydney, Australia. Then, we were off to Beijing, China! After we received our visas for China, Mongolia (visa-free for us) and Russia, we planned out our Trans-Siberian train trip. It took plenty of planning, but we did it with hope, ambition and faith.

You can start off your train journey from so many locations, but we began ours in Beijing. Flying from Queenstown, South Island connecting in Auckland to Sydney, Australia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and making it to Beijing! The flight with all the connections made it super long, but it was worth it. We wouldn’t recommend the airline that we took – That’s another post.

Of course, we had to see the Great Wall of China! We’ll keep you updated on all our adventures. Ciao!

    1. Craig and Kirsty! You made our stay in New Zealand EXTRA special. Thank you for everything, especially your genuine and kind vibes. Maybe we’ll meet in Utah for some skiing. 😀 Dario and Kathy
